OPTIMALISASI ZAKAT DIGITAL; SOLUSI PENGHIMPUNAN ZAKAT MASA PANDEMI COVID 19 DI INDONESIA

The pandemic covid 19 outbreak has been going on since March 2020 until March2021. Base on the condition, people are not allowed to do activities, they have to stay at home and social distance. It caused, the number of poverty is increase, and also the number of mustahiq increased 87% in Indonesia. For that The purpose of this study is to explain the zakat digital as a solution to collect zakat in pandemic covid 19. This research is a descriptive qualitative whose data is collected through library research
from the journal, research, and online media. The conclusion of the study is that during the Covid 19 pandemic, zakat collection increased 46% by Badan Amil Zakat
Nasional (BAZNAS) and the others Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) which collaborate with the Star Up Indonesia, while digital zakat was obtained by 23% only. Although an increase in the acquisition of zakat digital, but the percentage is still small compared with the potential of zakat. However the literacy of digital zakat is a strategy to trawl mustahiq in Indonesia, beside readiness of technology and human resources that are part of the digital zakat operation
